Audubon Center Nature Talk

We enjoyed a very energetic class on the animals and
plants that live on the Olympic Peninsula. Powell the
Director told us about Osprey's that dive 6 feet into the
water and 9 out of 10 times come up with a fish. We
learned about the aerodynamics of birds wings and how
one bird whose wings move 53 beats a second can hover,
fly up or down and even backwards.
